Besides the obvious Miss Universe I was wondering if there had been any other questionable outcomes

The only one I can recall is back at Miss USA in 98 .There were 2 former Miss Teen USA,Calif Shauna Gambill and Iowa Jamie sollinger. It was said that they would only allow 1 to make the top 10 but not both. Was that fair??

I really should protect my peace lol, but I truly am getting so irritated with conspiracy theories like this. Do I think there are likely pageants out there that have less-than-stellar judging procedures (like allowing a state director to sit in on judges' meetings and contribute to conversation), sure! There are bad actors in all industries and all programs. But there is no evidence that pageants in general are corrupt. First of all, why on Earth would they be? What acounting firm is going to put their reputation on the line just to fix the outcome of a pageant? Literally what would there incentive be? And in this case, who on gods green Earth would care if both of these women made the Top 10? If they did, how would it have effected *anyone* negatively, much less *so* negatively that they would take steps to commandeer the auditing process to fudge the results. Please tell me one reason why anyone would care that much. This is pageantry, this is not a presidential election... Jamie Solinger was kept out of top ten due to her profanity. Rationale: Miss USA cannot show up at a Special Olympics function with the mouth of a sailor. Her EDs were told this post-pageant. (NT)No name

Not fixed, per say, but I can recall a state pageant where the gal who won was best friends with the choreographer/producer. Definitely rubbed people the wrong way when she won. (NT)No name
