I was on the creative and production team for Tall Pony, the prod co that worked with Sam Haskell. I attended for the first time the pageant in Orlando with some friends. I have been asked to weigh in with some comments so here goes: 1) Obviously this was produced on a shoe string budget so not fair to criticize if there is no money. Needs set and lighting design for starters to elevate it to be a national pageant and not just another state level production.2) hire a professional script writer. This was painful. No info about the women competing is first level failure 3)Keep Billy Gilman (in fact, we are putting him forward for some host/talent gigs. Impressive talent. Watched his Voice appearances with team once got back to LA. Great energy. Made bad script sound lively and his talent is network level. Drop the woman or get her some styling help. Younger woman? 4) The game show? Miss A should have put a button at the end of each on the street interview throwing it back to the MC's. Instead the video just cut off. Better concept would be to let the on the street people ask the Delegates real questions they come up with and have the Delegates answer those. 5) Choreographers/ Talent night hosts. Ok sit down for this but I Loved the choreo and the one guy as the talent host. Again, he was hampered by NO Script here. Needs some divertisements to break this up. Just too long. Not sure this concept works at any level. NONE of this ismeant to be harsh just reality check for a production doing the best it can on limited funds. Simple fixes with some creativity. Enjoyed the competition for both Teen and Miss so this new team is doing something very right in leveling up the competition. The women were outstanding. (NT)No name

Excellent feedback that I almost completely agree with. The Talent Host AND the current Queens need to look at a script in advance. If you don’t know how to pronounce something, look it up. The OP suggestions are great, but Robin isn’t gonna pay one cent to improve any of this so until she gets removed, we will see this exact same midstate level show. (NT)No name

Exactly. Just like with Trump, her supporters will overlook the numerous damages she has done to this organization. The pageant is one week a year. How a outthe other 51? (NT)No name

You can support changes and still want more changes and improvements. Both can be correct. (NT)No name
