Subject Author Date Exactly. Several locals from last year and previous years are not returning, but no legal letters or threats were sent their way. It's only because the two mentioned here that are leaving are two Miss Virginia legacy pageants, having been participants for decades. Their departures are an embarrassment to Nancy and Mark, directly attributed to their poor leadership (see above comment from the Miss Arlington Board member). With the departure of these two mammoth locals and the boycott of 20 Forever Miss Virginias not attending the Miss Virginia Pageant this past June, the two directors simply do not have a handle on this "Opportunity," like they'd want everyone to believe. They're small and petty and narcissistic, and their actions are always retaliatory. At some point, sponsor, donors and the rest of the locals will come to their senses and depart as well.
