Subject: I don't know, maybe a setup where girls register and then they all gather on the same date and they get up on this platform and they each get a turn individually walking across stage in a swimsuit and gown, they each answer a question, and some sort of panel scores eacn one. And then at the end of the night, the person who scored the most points wins a crown? It's a relatively new thing and when something new like this happens, 99.99999% of the time it's due to poor leadership that should be replaced. Short of that, there is no excuse to have an open call of any type and then use the excuse that some states have no directors when there are many pageant people who would 100% take over the state directorship.
