Subject: Well, that's just asinine. Anyone who is thinking about something else could have done that. For years this girl has been portrayed as an out and out thief, when it could have been an honest mistake.

In reply to: 's message, "She thought the store was like the modern day Kohl's; you picked up everything you wanted and then paid for everything at the front of the store. They say she drifted from one store department to the next, unaware of the cashier station in the department she walked out of. She was still in the store, just not in the right department. No criminal record before that." on 13:54:19 02/03/26 Tue

That may be true but I did hear that this wasn’t her first shop lifting incident and that was why the judge was so tough on her. Not sure how true that is though. (NT)No name

Oh Honey- I grew up in Mansfield (home of the state pageant). It wasn’t a “mistake” of her walking through O’Neils, not knowing where to pay. She got away with it until she didn’t. She was a bit older and I was envious she had an involved mom & got everything handed to her- gowns, costumes, wardrobe. Her parents would take her to Florida to tan for the pageant. In my mind, she had it made, so I couldn’t believe someone as spoiled as she was felt entitled to just take. She was given everything, but it wasn’t enough. (NT)No name
