With a totally different group of contestants and a totally different set of judges, it's possible that she could have won. It's also highly possible that she wouldn't have even made top 10. The stars aligned for her just right that year and she excelled. Just because she stood out in one group of 50 doesnt necessarily mean she would have in a different group of 50. I thought Heather and Cullen were a perfect final two. From her hair falling in her face, to the baggy gown, to the bad spray tan on her hands, I found her talent to be average. She was a deserving swimsuit winner, but I felt there stronger contestants that year. I liked Indiana, Montana and Ohio that year. I also did not have NJ in the top 5. And of course in recent years, we have winners from North Dakota and Alaska. Always nice to see the little states do well. Most of the contestants are from their more populated cities. People from different parts of the huge state are not alike. But the talent is pretty good overall. They do well in interview but need more sophistication to answer tricky questions, imo.
