You subvert the whole need for salvation if you ignore origional sin. If God will take unbaptized children into heaven, then what did Christ die for? Acceptance in Christ is the only way in to heaven, because Christ is the only way to wash out origional sin. A person could live a sin-free life (in theory) and still go to hell if they have not accepted Christ, because they still have origional sin. That is why Catholic children are baptized so early.
