It’s not a recommendation it’s a matter of “if you don’t spend more than $10,000 you will lose.” She has been outwardly nasty towards several contestants each year and has insider information on the pageant. They may say a 'state level gown' can run $10k. Saying they work with/ sponsor all the major pageant systems is basic marketing, not an attempted extortion where if you don't buy a gown from them, you won't win.
