I wanted to have a follow up on the discussion on the JCHE since it was
a controversial project from start to finish.

a previous poster brought out some good points....thanks very much.

Quote....
Local preference ruling from the ZBA decision approving the JCHE 40B
development. (How it actually played out, I can't speak to. Given that there is
such language in the document, I would think the ZBA or some other Town body
would have had to monitor it.)

"...the Applicant shall work diligently to provide 70% local preference to
Framingham residents as defined herein. Consistent with law, not less than 50%
local preference shall be given to residents subject to one or more of the
following preference criteria: (a) at least one member of the household is a
legal resident of the Town of Framingham. A person shall be eemed a resident if
that person is eligible to be registered to vote in the Town of Framingham, (b)
at least one member of the household is either a son, daughter, sibling, parent
or grandparent of a Framingham resident, or (c) a person employed by the Town
of Framingham for at least two years within the previous five years. The
Applicant and the Town of Framingham or its designee, shall make a diligent
effort to locate eligible renters who meet the above qualifications as well as
the applicable income requirements."
end Quote...

me again...
Now the question I ask if there is someone who can help me....
Has the JCHE submitted this information showing that they have complied with
what is said from above request?
How do we know if they have complied?
There has to be a paper trail to this as this whole development was a promise made that
the JCHE said they would abide by.
What is the number of people that live in that JCHE project and how many are from Framingham.
Are 70% of the people living there originally from Framingham?
Who in the right town dept. can provide me with the needed information?
I'm asking here on this forum because as you know a person can waste a lot of time looking for answers
when there is someone on this forum reading this who can answer the question in a few minutes.
