Kalya nodded to Channa, scratching Wrelth's eye ridges quickly, hoping she was doing it right, and stood up, moving to the edge of the Sands. Channa had said that the next one would be for one of us...

She looked at all the eggs. Which one would be the next to crawl past its boundaries and find is lifemate, either her or Wessae?
