Kalya watched the last egg split into two, and the dragonet find the last girl on the Sands. Sighing with relief, she got up, and stretched, her aching muscles protesting. "Lay, Hatching's over, are you ready to go to the feast?" The first part was directed at her dragon, but the rest at everyone else she was with.
Let us go. I am ready. Layath replied.
Alright Layath. But you have to get up. You're way too big to be carried.
Oh, fine. If I must.
Kalya smiled, Layath wasn't serious, she was just jesting. Layath proved Kalya's theory when she leapt up, with spring in her step, and nudged Kalya gently.
Lya, we do have a feast to get to.
Right Lay.
"C'mon everyone, let's go!"
Caer chirped his agreement and flew around, telling Kalya in fuzzy images that he, too, was hungry. "A'rak? Channa? Wessae? Caen? You guys want to eat or not?"
