Cat, as always, was the first to reply to the newcomers.
"Hello!" She smiled, and held out her bronzish hand. "I'm Cat, rider of green Beneveloth."

S'kil nodded to them. "S'kil of blue Abeoth."

Dey's voice was barely over a whisper. "Dey. Green Shyth."

"We were talking about how we're overrun with greens and don't have many bronzes." S'kil said, but then Cat inturrupted him, cocking her head a bit.

"You guys twins or something?" Then, she recognised one of them. "Hey, you're Taran, aren't you? You were at Grenith's clutch's Impression. You know, Shrineth is supposed to rise soon--"

She was cut off by Shyth's voice, which resounded through not only Dey's mind but also the other riders and the twins.

Dey's face went pale, S'kil's eyes widened as if he'd been told Christmas was suddenly today, and Cat gasped.

A drudge Dey had called earlier came by, and placed several cups of klah on the table. Grinning, Cat took one.

"C'mon, people! A toast to Shrineth?"

(Oh, c'mon! I tried to post this literally seven times, and then it works on NS's com???)
