Tr'ln laughed softly. "Yeah, I guess you're right. Lazy riders wouldn't do, would they?"

He listened, interested, through her entire talk about Mylanith. He nodds at her talk about spoiling one's dragon, and has renewed intrest in the talk of leadership. And the talk of her clutchmates and flights. All in all, Mylanith's personality opened up many topics for conversation.

"Well, if there ever was another Weyr, and you were asked to be Weyrwoman, would you?" he asked, though it was a semi-stupid question. She probably wouldn't have much of a choice, but if she did...

He gave a small laugh. "Well, that's alright. They are her clutchmates, even if they aren't really hers." He thought for a moment. "Well, browns aren't that bad, are they? They've got as much a right to follow a gold as the bronzes!" He gave a small smile, knowing fully well that part of his 'standing up for browns' moment had been because he himself was a brownrider.

{Watch a brown catch her when the time comes.}
I thought you went back to sleep.
{It's hard to when you keep talking.}
Well, how do you know a brown will catch her?
{I don't. But, amybe I'll try.}
Tr'ln couldn't tell if the brown was teasing or not. What?
{Your surprise is amusing.}
Are you serious?
{I'll decide when the time comes.}

"Latroth says she'll probably be caught by a brown for thinking that way." He said, desisively leaving out the part about he himself following. "We'll have to see, won't we?"
