the little girl frowned, hugging Mommy tight. Daddy was sorry... right? So, why was Mommy still so scared? Of course, Uncle Tatty(as she called him) was calming her down, but...

Well, if Mommy wouldn't talk to Daddy, Sally would.

"'Mir? Who dat?" She asked, reffering to K'mir, confused. "And wha's happaing(happening)? Wha you want, Daddy? Why you here? Sally want answers!"

Of course, Salzay knew perfectly well that whining would get her no where, but she liked to speak in 3rd person, so she figured the whine-y last sentance was worth it. Besides, what did Daddy want?
