I am 22, and for years have babysat for folks from the church. Usually divorced woman with small kids who want to go out.. I have always had the rights to spank.. but recently i messed up some things while watching one woman's kids, and when she came home, she was very upset, and stated she would inform my mom, or she would discipline me... has anyone been in a situation like this or had other babysitting situations of spanking?

Not cool! Did the woman’s girls get spanked and was your daughter allowed to spank?
I got spanked for misbehavior as a sitter when I was 15. But I was spanked by mom the next day when the lady came to complain to mom about me. It sucked cuz I got bare bottom spanked.m in front of her!
I never spanked her two sons but she would spank them in front of me sometimes.

I only once spanked while babysitting.

My instructions were to tell the parents if there were problems and when they got home they would spank the offenders in front of me. That was an education seeing how different parents spanked and after that I never had problems with the kids again.

I only spanked a boy once who misbehaved. He had been reported and spanked by his parents and he begged me to spank him rather than tell his parents. That was the first spanking I ever gave and I turned his butt deep red with a hairbrush. He probably would have been better off with his mother spanking him.

The children I saw spanked while babysitting were all young. They were only hand spanked by their mothers usually but they were crying up a storm even before being stripped. Most of them were stripped naked, but a few were allowed to only have their bottoms exposed.

The spanking itself resulted in loud cries, frantic kicking and bucking all over the place. In a way I felt sorry for them, but I knew it was for their own good.

That was proved that with one exception, I never had an issue with anyone spanked when I sat them again.
