I really know, but not all spankings are equal. I only know what it was like for me, and how it was done to me. There are many variables in how a spanking is given.
How long does a spanking last?
It seemed much longer than it actually was. When I heard other siblings getting it, a spanking only took a minute or less.
Is it really different on pants, panties, bare bottom.
I don't know. It was always bare bottom.
What does it feel like to have your bottom repeatedly smacked?
The repetition is what makes it so painful. The same spots getting it again and again builds up the fire. However, the spanks were pretty fast and not spaced apart with any break. It became overwhelming. My mind and body would go kind of numb. I guess that's a natural defense mechanism.
What is the worst instrument?
We were not spanked with a large selection of implements to make comparisons. I thought the worst was the small wooden board. It was like a 12-inch ruler on steroids. The wood was very dense and hard.
How long does the burn last?
The burn during the spanking was what I imagine would be almost like sitting on a hot stove. I did not time it, but once the spanking was over, the hot numb feeling could last for maybe an hour before it was not that noticeable. A spanking by hand or some other implement would not be that bad or for that long.
What kind of a burn is it?
I think it depends on what you are spanked with. Wood that is hard but not too heavy applied with a snappy wrist creates an intensely sharp focused sting. Each stroke of a switch or cane is probably even more intense, but I would not know. I once felt a few licks from a leather belt, and that was a different sensation, hard to describe. The longer the paddle spanking lasts it is like fire. My mind was chaos, and all I could think of was desperately wanting it to stop. After the spanking, there was an uncomfortable tingle, but it felt more like my butt was an oven, not an intense burn but more of a radiant glow, like it would shine and light up the room in the dark.
Does your butt hurt the next day?
Usually not that much in my experience, but I've heard others say they "could not sit down." At worst it was sore to the touch the next day, and a weird warm feeling when sitting down for awhile, but not that bad. It looked worse than it felt.
How red or bruised is your bottom?
Checking in the mirror shortly after a paddle spanking, the lower half of my behind was cherry red, like I had sat on a bench where the paint was still wet. About as red as you can imagine red can be.
How long does the redness or bruised last?
The general redness faded in a few hours, but where the compact paddle had made maximum initial impact, it had left crimson to purple bullseye marks on the crowns of the cheeks. The marks would fade and turn other colors over the coming days, but could be visible for I think as much as a week.
Does it really change your behavior? Why are people so afraid of spankings?
I think a spanking has to be very painful to cause much fear. I was definitely afraid of getting one, not to mention extremely shamed and embarrassed. So it was something to think about when deciding how to behave. When I forgot to think about it, and got caught doing something spank-worthy, I was genuinely sorry about it.
