But even then I think there is a large variation among those who got spanked. Below are my answers which may not reflect at all how other experienced parental spanking. 1.How long does a spanking last? I honestly don't know but my guess is most spanking were ongoing for about a minute. Which feels like forever when you are over the knees. 2.Is it really different on pants, panties, bare bottom. As a child/teenager I only experienced bare bottom spankings except for when warning swats were given. But I tried later with a boyfriend how it would have felt. And being spanked with pants on hurts much less than being spanked bare bottom. But it can still hurt a lot. Panties gave some minimal protection but not more. 3. What does it feel like to have your bottom repeatedly smacked? As a child/teenager, it was horrible feel, a mixed feeling of pain, stinging, anger, humiliation, embarrassment, shame, sometimes even agony. 4. What is the worst instrument? The worst I experienced was the birch. Absolutely horrible! 5. How long does the burn last? Depends on the spanking but the immediate pain dissappeard quite rapidly but the stinging I felt for hours, sometimes rest of the day. 6.What kind of a burn is it? Don't know how to describe 7. Does your butt hurt the next day? The time I got birched, yes. But I think that was only time. 8. Does it really change your behavior? Difficult to tell, to some extent yes, question is whether you learned from it or if you were scared to death for misbehaving. I think these are very different things. 9.Why are people so afraid of spankings? It hurts like hell, it is embarrassing as hell, it is humiliating as hell.
