You were quite lucky having friends you could be candid with and discuss your spankings. Were any of them guys and if some were, did any of them get the belt from their moms?

Did you ever get it over the end of the couch? It must be very different looking at the couch cushion from looking at the floor.

We had lots of discussions of implements. Did you and your friends agree on what was the most stinging implement? We never reached a consensus but the yardstick tended to come in last (except for my vote!). Mr. H. was always competitive even if he wasn't the winner.

I totally agree that any bare bottom coldness did not last very long! I was always surprised how my bottom could change temperatures so fast!

How do you handle the lecture and scolding preliminary? If you get no complaints from a sib about someone getting off too easy, you must be doing a good job. Everyone I knew who had a sibling or two thought their younger siblings got away with a lot!

"Call to duty" is a good way to refer to Mr. H's employment. Much better than "no longer collecting dust." When off-duty, where does he hangout?
