I always root for Mr. H. to stay speechless and collecting dust in a drawer. With luck he will be bored stiff! Hmmnnn. Well, maybe just plain bored!

On a related topic, did anyone ever tell you that your mom was going to wear a hole in the seat of your britches? I heard that as a kid and didn't get what it meant. Then I figured it out, sort of. But just the other day, I learned a new interpretation.

I might not have heard all the words. Maybe it was "your mom is going to make you wear a hole in your slacks." I have a friend who claimed that a big professional exam made her so nervous that she wore a hole in her pants squirming in the chair during the three hour exam! So, maybe the idea was that I would get such a good spanking that I would be squirming so much while sitting afterwards that I would wear out the seat of my pants! Thoughts?
