Those that depend on aid all the time obviously have no need to work the land.

Trust me, that aid money comes from somewhere, where people are getting off their butt and working to produce the wealth and taxes that enable sthat to happen. Where you have such activities happening, you are bound to have some loss in value of the land. The key is to strike that balance, before we all become 'Haitians'.

You are right, there is a difference in mindset. One set wants to progress, the other...to live off someone's back!!
