This forum established after an incident of witch hunts and tracing attempts was observed to occur against students who spoke out on a topic others wanted silenced, on another forum. Our site is dedicated to those students.

Subject: Future of the alternative forums for Papua New Guineans ????

Students are back at school yet the dead feeling of Wantok's Forum is exceeded by the drudgery of nearly all the alternative forums.

Is there a place for these alternative forums? Are Papua New Guineans interested enough to contribute to them? What are the obstacles? Is the problem not enough publicity?

Should this forum be revised or changed? It appears that the administrators have disappeared, gone back home, or died awhile back. This, like the other alternative forums, may have a lot of potential. But how can this potential be realised?

Are all the participants living overseas? Is there any opportunity for Papua New Guinean students back home to participate?

I'm asking all these questions because I really don't know what the future of alternative forums like this one is.

Any response appreciated and taken note of.
