I certainly agree this isn't and shouldn't be a racial issue.

I saw the story in the top posting of this forum about Taiwan and their political parties.

After reading that and based on looking at how these Asian businesses are run inside PNG maybe the last people we should be copying are the Asians.

Are they progressive or ruthless?

I don't see that the Chinese and Malaysians who now run so many businesses in PNG are that educated. They aren't good managers but they know how to negotiate to the point of tricking. They know how to bribe and otherwise grease the wheels to get their way.

It is not a racial thing but it may be a cultural thing.
