I am sorry, the world search and getting the best in the world will not do any magic to the airline because the airline is located within a certain business, economic and competitive envirnoment that little market to grow. The same passenger rate will travel within the same socio-economic situation where income is so low, such air travel is once in blue moon event. You've got to give up certain luxuries to travel by air in PNG. But of course we know that PNG is not a land of luxury, rather it is one of basic subsistence. The business community is fatigued with all sorts of demands for corporate image that it is stagnant, if not dying a slow death. PNG is not the center of world economic activity, it is very very much influenced by what is happening elsewhere in the world.

So an airline that depends on economic activity within the country whose economy is influenced by what's happening outside will not rise to the level of profitability.

My simple view is let Air Niugini die if there is no private business person willing to carry the load. The government has no idea of business savvy.

Let the population use airlines from elsewhere in the world contracted or given license to operate in the country.
