Subject: You Give Me or Me Give You?

I wasn't sidetracking the issue. The issue is work for payment, in terms of food or cash. If you can earn the equivalent of a weeks pay by doing three hours work, why wouldyou want to work 1 week for three days pay? Its simple economics. Need creates the desire to work in order achieve a certain outcome.

Onmy cocoa plot,I only needed to work three days a week to earn the euqivalent of a months pay? Why, on earn would I go and slave away on a 9-5 job that for a day's wages. Many PNGeans who have cash crops enjoy this susbsistence affluence, and their are contributing to the economy in more ways than those that work 9-5 for some foreign companies, especially the Robber Barons in the Loggin Industry.
