"I believe we are satisfied for now," Vincent says gravely. This is something of an understatement, as Sev has already started consuming his steak with the ravenous appetite that dying apparently hasn't curbed. Seifer is spearing carrots with his fork, though he was amusedly watching Cloud of the corner of his eye.

Cloud is poking at his noodles with what is unmistakeably a what the heck is this stuff? expression. At last, he winds some of it around his fork and takes a tentative bite. He chews contemplatively and swallows. Pause pause pause. Grin. Have another forkful.

Looks like the evening's shaping up nicely.
