Crash Craddock is another who comes to light.

During the period (1959-1963) 99% of Americans forgot all about Holly and it was only countries such as Britain, Australia, New Zealand and some European places his music was still played.

As a person who never 'got into' the Motown sound, I must confess I never really listened to it and so probably do not realise or understand the significance of the music. I was more into what was then known as Country and Western with a lot of so called rock 'n' rollers moving over to this genre. Conway Twitty is a prime example.
