Before any of the humans can react, Chuth and Laffranth pivot to face their junior queen. Well, Laffranth pivots; T'gan is thrown off balance by the turn and falls back, causing Chuth's movement to become a sloppy swivel.

Akema grins. "There's your problem right there, T'gan!" she crows. "Tighten your riding straps!"

T'gan scowls, but flushes when he discovers how loose his leg-straps are. "Aw, when'd that happen?"

"You two were in too big of a hurry, maybe?" Akema replies, before turning her attention to Kayla. "Hello, ah-"

*Kayla, with Layath,* Laffranth volunteers. *Hello, Layath.*

^Thank you, dearest.^ "-Kayla," Akema finishes smoothly.

*Hello, Layath,* Chuth says softly, ducking his head. Both he and his rider are embarrassed by their inattention to basic safety -- and in front of a queen rider!

"Hello, Kayla," T'gan murmurs, bright red.
