First of all, it's so nice to have a HOH on the board to facilitate discussion. If you don't mind, I have a few questions for you. Truthfully, these are things I'd like to know from my Husband but he's a man of few words, usually. :)

When you spank your wife, are you aroused by it? Do you think lesser of her for needing correction (I always fear that's the case with my Husband. He never acts like that, certainly, but I feel guilt for putting him in a position where whipping is necessary)? Was it difficult for you to tap into the masculine urge to strike her (after having been taught that hitting women is always bad? It took ages for me to admit the need to be chastised. I felt like a freak for so long)? And any other thoughts would be most appreciated. I've read so much from the wife's point of view on various blogs but that's only preaching to the choir-- it doesn't add to my understanding of both roles. There are far fewer Husbands who can eloquently describe what it's like for him and what he gets out of it. The idea of striking someone is so utterly foreign to me (to be fair, the idea of craving a whipping is probably equally foreign to you)-- I'd like to know more about what that's like. Did you get spanked growing up? When did you realize that you wanted to be a disciplinarian? What was the journey like from desiring that role in theory to actually putting it into practice? Does it ever feel like a burden? I apologize for so many questions but do appreciate anything you can share.
