Yes, no blurring the lines.
I know what you mean.
For me, the spanking happens in the living room.
And there is at least an hour gap before he showers me with love.
Hugs, kisses and more.

No he uses only hands.
He started working in construction at the age of 10.
So, by the end of his teenage, his hands were very rough. Almost like leather.

To our girls, I spanked with wooden spoon or cane and he used his hands.
The girls always cried more from his spankings.
