And yes you raise a great point considering the size of the schedule to fill. I'd suspect that is part of the reason why D-IA is well-sized currently for football.

As for the majors, I don't care what the hell bores their unimaginative asses. As for us, I suspect that becoming D-IAA means that when we schedule the bigs we will not be able to ever get them at home anymore. Maybe D-IAA would increase in size as more D-II and D-III programs seek upgrade.
