I agree with your statements. I think the cuddle time after a spanking assures the child/teen that they are still loved. I believe the child/teen that is spanked forgives the parent for the spanking during the time they you cuddle with them. i know that is how my teens/child feels after a spanking including my 19- and 17-year-old daughters.
