Subject: cl26 Capacitor question.

After completing my latest PCC, I tried the CL26 cap mod as instructed on Stuart's page. I used a 4 micro farad capacitor as 4 would have a larger time constant than 1-3 and it should have stretched things out enough. I am unable to stretch the display out very far and get huge amounts of barrel distortion which I cannot compensate for with the PB potentiometer on the back of the analog board. I have a 640x480 apple color display with a cap at CL26 on it. Should I rob the cap out of it and try it? I looked into the PP1 mod but my PP1 was superglued at the factory. (How nice of them) I guess they think that us MacHack folks will spin any pot we can get our hands on. LOL. Any help would be appreciated. Is there any thing else I can do here? The 4 mic farad cap has not helped me so far.
Scott
