I'm going to chase down another lead on what the problem may be, (I'll post about that shortly) but I think I'm going to have to fall back onto the resistor as a last resort, given that the "Lawson mod" stubbornly refuses to work on my CC.

I'm pretty sure that I'll have to do the cable fiddle inorder to add the resistor, as to do it with the Lawson mod would send the power from the resistor to the 575 board and fry it. That would be bad.
