Subject: Help with VGA modification

Dear all,
I am a proud owner of a CC with a LC550 motherboard.
I have recently acquired a LC575 board. As expected,
upon installation, I got a 'Bus Error' msg upon bootup.

I would like to do a VGA mod by ResEDit as described
in the FAQ. Can I do it on my OS7.6.1 while running with LC550 since I can't run pass the startup process with the
LC575?

Another question, I notice that there is no PRAM battery
slot on my LC575? Is this a design of the board?

Finally, in the FAQ, it was suggested that I open a template
by Mr Pickle using ResEDIt. Do I need to cut and paste any
thing from the template to the System suitcase? The FAQ also
mention transferring the template over to the working system, does it mean dragging the template over to the System Suitcase?

Forgive my ignorance, I am looking forward to be enlighten
by all of you,

Thanks

Lang
