O.K. I think I finally understand. My PCC Has the sense code wired at the cable, as you describe, and I have made no other alterations to the analog board, such as cutting pin 20. I have pin 8 soldered to pin 10 at ZP1. This is running in 13" mode, not VGA mode, and it is running at the higher voltage.
I have moved the wire at ZP1 from pin 10 to pin 12.
I am now running in VGA mode, at the lower voltage. Is this the best solution for my combination of Performa 275 Analog board and PM 5500 Logic board?

On my second CC, I have another P 275 analog board.
I have Pin 8 soldered to pin 10 at ZP1 and I have pin 20 cut on the circuit board and I have a 4700 Ohm resistor soldered drom pin 20 to pin 9 on the power edge connector. Is this what I should have for a CC without a PowerMac logic board installed? I do have an LC 575 board installed.
Thank you so much for your help, I think you have finally been able to clarify these upgrades for those of us who do not read Japaneese.
