 It is unlikely that photographs like that of boys showing their bruised or marked bottoms would be published in a newspaper today. Personally I think the photo you linked to is fine but may not be appropriate for junior members. It is interesting to see the effects of the cane as this is not an implement I am familiar with - obviously it use to be very common here in New Zealand high schools in the past. I don't think I have seen effects of parental belt spanking on that site.
