This is our 13th WR Oireachtas and have never seen anything like this! We were bumped out of the Grand today and only current option is the Sheraton which is 25mins away….Marriott sold out.
Will now have to Uber back and forth to the venue. Completely outrageous! We should be released from the block to stay in one of the closer venues. Made all travel plans around our Grand reservation. Unacceptable!!
WESTERN REGION- do the right thing and release us from the block requirement and find venues with adequate space and/or walking distance. Show compassion.
