This is absolutely unacceptable! We made our entire plans around staying at the grand and not needing a car. The Sheraton is nearly 25 minutes from the venue. This changes the cost and changes how I would’ve traveled. This is our 13th WRO and I’ve never seen anything like this.
I implore the western region to reconsider the wristband requirements to stay in a block. This is unreasonable and why are we picking this year as the first year to require wristbands? If we need to do wristbands choose a location where there are alternate locations within walking distance for those coming from out of the area, many families do not have unlimited funds to make up for the errors of the planning for this event! So distressing when there are other hotels within half a mile from the venue.
