Subject: Impressed w/Western Region

I recently brought my dancer to WR for a feis.... we wanted to see what it was like to compete outside of our large region. I must say that I'm super impressed with the western region and kind of jealous -- I observed *very* supportive teachers... every dancer had at least one highly invested teacher watching them compete, and many times those teachers were the first to greet the dancer when they got off stage. The teachers at my dancers school hardly watch the dancers compete -- usually they can found in the main walkway of the feis chatting up other teachers with their backs to the dancers on stage. That isn't the case in the western region. Bravo. Kind of wishing I lived in your region.
