Good afternoon, Dear Kristina,

Thank you for that sweet note about not hearing from me yesterday. Had a wonderful evening doing our parental duties, but then to bed right after with my husband, both of us feeling wonderful and fired up, and it was over an hour before we finally curled up together and had a wonderful, deep, rejuvenating night’s sleep. Giving our two darlings their bedtime spankings is working really great for them, but it is also a wonderful present for us, too.

The kids woke up rested, bright-eyed, and full of energy this morning and they gave both of us loving hugs and kisses before they went off to school.

Just got back from the market and guess what?—one of today’s items I bought was their largest size container of baby oil! Haven’t had that around for years! How do those lyrics go from West Side Story, “Tonight, tonight, it all begins tonight…”

I know it could seem very, very wicked of me to even think of this, but since you have a fun and teasing nature, Kristina, you will probably appreciate my feelings when I say this. The thing is I can’t wait to start to apply that baby oil tonight to my daughter, and when she asks why I am doing that, give her a nice big kiss and look her in the eye and tell her, “This? Oh, this is so the spanks I give you will hurt even more, Sweetie!”

I’d like to have a camera on both of their faces when I tell them that. Still, let’s face it, the whole purpose of a good and proper spanking is to make the bottom sting really good and to bring lots of tears, and to bring the lesson home the best we can, right? So your suggestion to apply baby lotion before spanking because the spanks will hurt more sounds like a really great idea to me, and thanks for that tip.

I’m sure you read that last note from Yvonne. It sounds like she did a great job with her first bedtime spankings of her kids, so you and I can feel good we helped with that. I’m going to post a note to her below right now.
