I agree the time I spent reflecting on snd regretting my behaviour was after being punished. While I was getting whacked my thoughts were 100% on how bad it was hurting and trying my best to cope.

I never really got the chance to hide what i did, cause most the things that i got smacked for were blatant (school detention notes, fighting brothers, backchat etc)
