Well I'm not going to sit here and defend their methods, I very much hated that school, and would have been far happier if I had never gone.

But all that said, the horse-stick was pretty low on the list of reasons why I hated the school so much.

(And to be fair, it probably sounds a lot worse than it actually was to be disciplined by that thing.)

Actually the worst, disciplining that I ever got was from the father of one of the boys that we played with. (He worked for my family's lumberyard, the father, I mean) And he actually did leave bruises on my backside!

I remember specially trying to hide them from Ms J.
