Most of my spankings were from my dad. I think he usually checked that I knew what I had done wrong in the quickest way possible and then got the spanking done so he could go on about whatever he was doing. Not talkative at all.

My grandma? A punishment from her was pretty much a lecture with some spanking added in. She went on and on.

I probably could have made bingo card with the things she would say while punishing me. There would definitely be something about what I was doing not being ladylike. Although sometimes her angry mind was rolling faster than she could translate, so much of the lecture came out in Spanish which I did not understand much of.

Literally a spanking from her could last 30 minutes with probably only a dozen actual swats being delivered but me not excused until she had said EVERYTHING she intended to.
