I grew up in the south on a cattle ranch and farm in the 90s. My parents spanked my four brothers and I often and we’re not secretive about it as it was still pretty common Atleast in our rural area. I’ve heard all kinds of versions of spanking threats. I always hated when anyone was around to hear it. What are some things your parents would say? Some common ones for me were:

“I’m going to blister your bare butt, Fanny, hiney ..”
“ Tan your ass good”
“ wear your butt out”
“ paint your back porch red”
And many other versions. I always hated when they would refer to my butt as Fanny or hiney lol so embarrassing.
