Much of what is described here in this thread is quite interesting. As it really does give off a feeling of a sort of time capsule. This is not something I experienced personally, but from reading the experiences of those of you who did, I would like to ask one question. For my own clarity. Considering that the teachers were allowed to give bare bottom spankings, was there a significant difference from what the teacher gave to what you got at home?

From what I read, it doesn’t sound ( for the most part) that these spankings were ever particularly drawn out, the way you maybe could expect to get at home. It seems like these spankings for a lot more concise and more so focus on ‘crowd control’ than teaching that good lesson that moms and dads are so well known for.

So, I guess my question is, whether teachers who did spank bare bottom have free reign on how soundly they spanked, particularly with regards to length and severity of the spanking? It seems to be the case, and most teachers just chose to be short and concise with how it was carried out.
