I'm mostly an anti-spanker when it comes to children. If someone grew up with it, and felt it was good for them, that's fine. That's one case, and it doesn't therefore follow that it's a good thing in general, or that those who advise parents to spank their children get a free run without disapproval. It is unclear what "rainbow parenting" has to do with it. Was it the wrong culture war term chosen? If you're looking for love and validation for spanking children, maybe find a moderated forum that requires it?
