You gave quite a description of your house. It made me curious about a few things. Please forgive me for asking, I just never lived in a mansion before. So I just wonder what it's like.

First was which you yourself thought of as the living room? Was it more the family room you described or the sitting room? (Just in your opinion which I mean)

And you describe the front door the front room the dinner room and south quarter all bunched up at n the front of the house. Were they all a lot smaller than your family room? Or was there a lot bunched up back there.

Ando I thought I read before that front doors in mansions are usually on the north side. But yours is on the south? Where is your back door?
