Any experience with this? Were you taken into the opposite change room when going and what was it like? Do you recall it fondly? I have experience with both sides of this. I'll start by saying I recall being taken into the women's room by my female relatives and babysitters up until around age 7 or so. This was both at the local pool and the park bathroom. I got to see some women and girls in various stages of undress which was very educational and interesting in the l ast few years. I found girls in the men's seemed to last longer in terms of age. When my uncle took my cousin and I to the pool she was taken into the mens until age 10. I thought it was very unfair that she got to see all the naked guys for so long. The only memory I have of being nude in front of the opposite sex in a changing room was when I was age 12. I didn't properly learn how to swim when younger so my mother enrolled me in a session run at my local swimming venue. Every other kid was much younger than me and I remember seeing the mother of a young boy in the changing room staring straight at me when I was undressed. I can verify that little boys stoped going in with mom at about 7 or 8. Dads would generally take girls in with them until age 10 or even 11 if there was absolutely no one who could accompany the child in to the appropriate changing area. I can remember a specific instance when I was 12. A dad brought his 9 year old daughter with him to change. This man, unlike other dad's, did nothing to redirect the child's attention away from those around her. He was oblivious to her gawking. And likewise, all the older teens and men in the changing room seemed oblivious to the girl as well; including my own dad. This guy was too busy fussing with his own bathing suit to look after her. Which brings me to a related point I wanted to bring out. As I stated, the guys in the locker room were oblivious to this little girl for the most part. She wandered around with her eyes as big as saucers. I did see a couple of men give each other a wry smile as if to say, "isn't that cute, she doesn't know what to make of this". They seemed to find it endearing. Like I said, different times. I walked past them with my friends to a bay of lockers and changed into my workout clothes. When I finished, and walked back towards them I saw that she was standing up completely naked! I recall you just got a key deposit and could enter. I remember they had speedo off brand I wore in pool from lost and found and had a gym too. I am guessing I was 12, and when I went into change room it had rows of lockers, and separate room with glass door to shower room. It was before puberty and I was not a shy boy. I just walked naked into shower and got sandblasted for 15 minutes with high water pressure. While showering a girl came in by herself and showered too. I was worried I was in wrong shower room, but infact I was not. I just saw her butt and walked out and they had a sauna too. I went in sauna for another 15 minutes as part of going there. I don't remember ever being taken into the women's changing room. My dad used to take my sister and I swimming every week, and we'd all go into the men's room together. All my life, I've been used to being in men's rooms and seeing girls being brought in by male relatives. It's less common in the UK than it used to be. Most new swimming pools seem to have "changing villages" which are just rows and rows of unisex cubicles, but those pools which still have single sex changing rooms usually allow kids to use the opposite sex room with a parent up to age 8-10. So it does still happen in my experience. Girls in the men's room who are too young to care just change with everybody else. Older ones tend to shower with their swimsuits on and find somewhere private to change. Some look around with curiosity at boys and men who are showering and changing, others seem to take it in their stride and treat it as normal. Guys' reactions to this vary similarly, some cover up, others don't seem to care. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]

I had same babystitter growing up and often same routine. When under 8 she always took me to beach and I played naked on beach and seemed normal at time. I would see females in boys room and can not recall using womens room past 7 maybe. I had a lot of routine as a kid and every summer I did summer sports in a day camp and later a volunteer in late teens. At summer camp I helped with younger class from 14-16 with my best freind. We grew up doing this each summer and always showered together. A disabled boy and mom always showered him in boys room. This was no issue and we would walk right by her often naked and get dressed and go home at end. We were kind to him and a fun kid actually so we got along and were real friends in our small group so the lack of privacy was accepted. What happened though is a few sisters came in since mom was in there too and changed boys under 7 or 8 and we would walk by them nude too. Total class was 12 so we all knew each other too well. It was 70s and like that it seemed. What did make me blush is young mom brought her boy in and they assigned me as his buddy for orientation. This mom walks right in boys room with us and was not shy at all. I did blush but got over it. It was more like I was attracted and others were "moms". [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
