 Is it an automatic thing that if your daughters disobey school rules that you will be spanked for their misbehavior? For me, I am sometimes spanked when our girls misbehave, at home or school or elsewhere, but it is not automatic. It depends on whether I could have done something to prevent it and didn't.

For example, one of my jobs is to be sure that the girls do their homework, study for their tests, etc. If one of them gets in trouble at school for not doing her homework, then we will both likely be spanked -- her for not doing it and me for failing to make sure she did it.

Another example, if one of the girls misbehaves at home and earns a spanking, I will also get a spanking if what she did wrong is something that she had been doing earlier and I didn't punish her for it. This happened a couple of weeks ago.

We have a rule that the girls are to keep their bedrooms clean and neat without being asked or reminded, and messy bedrooms earn them spankings followed by cleaning their rooms while still nude. Last week I saw that the older girl's room was a mess, but instead of punishing her I merely reminded her to clean her room. She still didn't do it and my husband noticed the mess when he got home from work. It came out that I had failed to punish her immediately for that and instead merely reminded her to do so. So both she and I got spanked and then after cornertime she cleaned her room while still nude while did other household chores in the nude.
