 I find your husbands approach quite interesting. We have had similar situations regarding Stacie keeping her room clean. Less now that she is older. In our case when I was informed that Stacie had to be told more than once I did administer the strap to Stacie but not to Ann. Fortunately Stacie is a very good student. All A's normally in all AP classes so we have no issues with grades. However, any other school related things like phone in class means a very serious leathering for Stacie. Ann's spankings center around different issues like the one I talked about. She is also responsible for keeping up with our bills and finances. Lack of effort there can lead to discipline with the strap.
